Carrot Roulade Cake with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Icing, meringue mushrooms and "moss" made of green and brown dyed cake, crumbled.

Why are all things bird related so frickin cute?? Coconut Macaroon bird nests with mint chocolate malt ball eggs....and some of the nests have raspberry jam....not sure where I was going with that,  bird poop? Surely not. ;)

Our nothing short of AMAZING music teacher, Ana. 

My little dear fell ill from eating a poisonous mushroom(Gran Gran fed her a meringue mushroom without realizing her sensitivity to eggs). As soon as the guests arrived, she was visibly uncomfortable, threw up several times,  and didn't get it out of her system until we were saying our goodbyes.  

Her new friend, Blitzen(named by Milla). He was a gift from Big Daddy and Nana. He gives definition to the "deer caught in head lights" image. Scarlett loves him and especially loves to nuzzle his tail:)

We celebrated Scarlett's actual birthday with Miss Sarah Jane....their bdays are only 3 days apart.
