Paisley Trio

We are going to a dear friend's house for brunch and an early Easter egg hunt this weekend. Last year, I made Milla and Zenin(Milla's best little guy friend) matching shirts. This year we have the Paisley Trio, including Miss Scarlett. I made Scarlett's dress in about 25 minutes. I found a super easy on-line tutorial :Tutorial for Scarlett's dress
Zenin's shirt took less than 20 minutes and involved no sewing, just fabric, fusible web, and an iron. I used brown felt for the "suspender" buckles. I LOVE how it turned out!

No scrap left behind
I am so thrilled I used every bit of my G-ma Ellard's vintage paisley fabric. It has been staring me down for years just waiting for me to give purpose to it's existence. I even had enough to make another doll dress! Granny would be so so proud. She was a quilter too, so if it was big enough to hold stitches, it was big enough to keep!
