In a spur of the moment photo shoot, we captured all this! This is a girl in touch with her emotions!
Noteworthy moments:
-After her lonely face, which is actually her contemplating about what lonely is, she said, I can show you lonely and she left the room!! ha!
-Along with her frustrated look she said in a whimpering, shuttering voice, "can you help me, please?"....which is how we deal with frustration these days since the little miss wants to do everything "all by myself" and just doesn't have the physical capability in many situations. We've told her, "You don't have to try to the point of getting frustrated, it's okay to ask for help, that's what we're here for."
I love everything about this captured moment and this old soul of a little girl! I'm printing this and plan to use it as a visual tool to encourage conflict resolution, empathy awareness, story comprehension, etc.
