Something "PEAS-ingly BEET-iful!" took me to Jesus

After dinner we used our leftover beets as drawing utensils.
As we finished our masterpieces I replied, "Beautiful, look at that!" With a grin, Milla replied,
"It's BEET-iful!" We laughed, she laughed then she added peas to the art and made
 it "pea-singly beet-iful"! :)
Cosby was right, Kids do say the darndest things.

Sometimes they make you laugh, cry, question your parenting style, feel dumb because they outsmarted you again, feel so lucky to be their parents, see life how you always wish you could, appreciate the tiniest plants, creatures and specs like you haven't since you were their age, wish time could stand still and speed up all in one day, forget that our lives are ruled by time(and not enough of it) and live in the present.
If we could all see life, all of its beauty and "ugliness" through the eyes of a child, we would have peace on earth. After all, children are the closest resemblance to Jesus we have on this earth.

And, since Easter is right around the corner I feel inspired to conclude with a message from him:

Jesus said you should become like a child. "Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 18:3-4)
Therefore how we deal with children is a signal of our fellowship with God. Something is deeply amiss in the soul that does not descend(or is it ascend?) to love and hold a child.

And, with that I leave you with a short article(link below) to the best explanation of this simple truth....it is soooo beautiful!  And, a little thanks to my niece, nephews and daughters for being my amazing examples! Love you guys!
Be Like Children
